Obituary for Sharon Pritchett (Jackson)

Sharon Anne Pritchett, 81, Leavenworth, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024 and heaven gained another Angel with her family and loved ones by her side.

She was born on May 10, 1942 in Leavenworth, Kansas to Blair and Olive (Currier) Jackson. She was united in marriage on November 2, 1959 to Joseph Pritchett in Eureka, Missouri. Her favorite things to do were crocheting, bowling, badminton, and riding her bike on the Katy Trail. She also was an amateur artist and she loved to draw. But most of all she loved her family, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother Olive Ann, husband Joseph Pritchett, brother Bruce Jackson, sister Carol Jackson, granddaughter Vickie Sadler, and great grandson Rhett Bonstell.

She is survived by her daughters Mary (Jeff) Burns, Independence, MO, Olive (Ricky) Sadler, Leavenworth, KS, son Joe (Jenny) Pritchett, New Haven, MO, sister Lois (Ron) Menner, Booneville, IN, twin brothers David (Pam) McCoy, Lansing, KS and Donald McCoy, Leavenworth, KS. 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren with 1 on the way, and 4 great great grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, May 25, 2024 at 2:00 pm at the Fortress of Faith Christian Fellowship, 2700 Wilson Ave. Bring your favorite dish and memories for the potluck dinner. A private graveside service will be held at a later date at the St. Francis Borgia cemetery in Washington, Missouri.
